Re: 2700 University Ave
I think this has a good chance. Wellington has been sitting on this lot for a long time. I gotta think they're pretty eager to get something built. And Doran has been quite prolific of late. They seem to know how to get projects built. I wonder who's been doing their financing? Student housing isn'...

Re: The Interchange (At Target Field)
There was some acknowledgement by Dan Krom of the state Office of Passenger Rail that this whole fiasco should be taken as a lesson. With better planning and communication, this could have been avoided. Peter McLaughlin has been calling this "the Kmart moment of this generation". +10 McLa...

Welcome to UrbanMSP!
Hey gang, So I think things are pretty much up and running the way we want them to be now. From what I can tell, quoting, editing, and all the other stuff is worked out. You can either upload attachments or link to photos on your own hosting programs. I also set up a rank thing by post count, if you...

Logos
Someone had mentioned making a new logo on the Minnescraper Facebook page, if anyone has any ideas feel free to post them here. The one we have now may/may not be heavily based on a logo from a few years ago, and we may want to get a new one up as soon as we can.

Introductions
Hey folks, most of us have been together on the forums--even TwinCityScape from back in the day--in some way or another for the past few years, but I thought it'd be nice to start this again for newcomers or anyone who feels like introducing themselves again. --- I'm Nick, I graduated from the U of ...

It looks like the attachment settings are such right now that you can upload whatever size you wanted, that might have been something Shawn changed since you first asked? For both attachments as well as linked images.

Re: 1368 LaSalle Ave development
I just put down a deposit for a unit at 215 Oak Grove, about two blocks from 1368 Lasalle, and it was a mad dash. I had emailed them June 1st about their August 1st vacancies, and during the emailing, one of three units got snatched up. I went to see one of the remaining two the morning of June 2nd....

Re: Permissions & First Posts
Did it bug anyone else when people would post coffee table sized photos on the old site? I'd agree that 700 pixels is probably too small but I wouldn't want it much bigger than that.

Re: Mozaic
I asked someone at Ackerberg about this and I guess they can't cover the building more than it already is without installing mechanical ventilation to vent out all the car exhaust. Hopefully this doesn't impede large buildings from getting built in Uptown in the future.

Re: Bottineau LRT
I'm not one to trip over myself defending suburbanites, but in this case I'm pretty sure there's a lot of opposition to the Northside routing from the Northside itself. The land acquisition they'd have to do on Penn is...complicated.

Green Line Extension - Southwest LRT
The Southwest Corridor, where we're making a $1.2 billion dollar bad choice to save $300 million dollars.
