Next door is Club Jaeger, one of the Gluek's saloons. It's pretty neat inside, nice patio to. But hipsters galore, so watch out for that I guess.
Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
No matter how many hipsters are there, it has to be a big step up from the old 923 Club.

Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
The angled balconies have all been installed on the Washington side. I think this building is starting to look pretty nice...
Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
The balconies look awesome!
Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
I give the architect Julie Snow a lot of credit for making this a more unique looking apartment building given the probable tight construction budget.
Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
I don't like the parking gap inbetween the two buildings.
Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
I don't think this project had any control over that... I agree it would be nice if it were closer to jaeger...
Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
Looks very cool (on a hot day! lol). Does anyone know if there is going to be a restaurant/retail on the first level?
Re: Brunsfield Place Apartments
This would look nice along the Midtown Greenway.Interesting indeed... Based on their portfolio, we could get something that breaks from the current pattern of apartments we are seeing lately: http://www.brunsfield.com/

Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
I finally was able to check out the progress on this building -- it's a definite winner in my book. The double-height retail space is a show stopper, and the ground level pass through under the building could be a great patio space. Overall, the detailing seems to be very well-handled.
Gets my vote as the best new low-rise project -- the competition isn't even close.

Maybe a part of the Kmart/nicollet SiteThis would look nice along the Midtown Greenway.
I really hope this is a successful project for them, more of their developments in our market would be a good thing IMO.
Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
Someone asked about the retail on their facebook page, and they responded that they have a number of interested business, so that's a good sign, also third north's facebook posted a picture of brunsfield, and said "Hi Neighbor" what community.
Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
Obviously I'm bored at work... This management company has a bunch of renderings of the courtyard and stuff...

Strib did a full article on this building, with a little bit of background on Brunsfield. I was hoping for a hint that they have another local project in the pipeline, but no dice. I'm sure this will lease up quickly and we'll hear something about the next Brunsfield project soon.

Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
Just biked over there yesterday and walked around the project. It's the most unique apartment project so far. Love the balconies and bright red accents (makes the magic paks not look so bad). Looks like retail ( restaurant?) will be on the first level on the eastern side with the facade almost all clear glass. Very modern but somehow works well with the older buildings nearby. Just goes to show when you hire a decent architect, you can make these cheaper quality apartment projects look good.

This really turned out a lot nicer than the renderings made it look. Usually the opposite ends up being the case. Very cool building.
