Twin Cities Future Transit Map
Re: Twin Cities Future Transit Map
The green line should extend to downtown White Bear Lake. They'd never leave out that stop if the route was actually built.

Can somebody post a link to a map/plan of the Orange Line? I'm particularly interested in its exact downtown alignment. Thanks

Re: Twin Cities Future Transit Map
Graphically, I think it's a bit confusing to have the green and purple lines drawn parallel as they come into SPUD. It suggests that they're sharing trackage when, in fact, they're not.

You have 98th and Burnsville out of order. 98th should be north of the Minnesota River. South of the river would go Burnsville, Burnsville South, Lakeville

Re: Twin Cities Future Transit Map
A small update today. Tweaked "A" bus routes, added route and street labels. The 94 bus is now highlighted separately as a highway BRT / frequent express service operating between downtowns.

Tak for det. I see that there are far too many small details here for the downtown portion to be even included on this map.

Re: Twin Cities Future Transit Map
Again being really picky, but in the eastern metro, the interstate north of 94 (and the Gateway) should be labeled 694. South of Gateway should be 494.
Re: Twin Cities Future Transit Map
Shouldn't Robbinsdale, Warehouse, Nicollet Mall, and Snelling be shown as transfer stations?

Yes to Snelling and Robbinsdale. Downtown stations will, however, have to be shown as part of a separate map inset.Shouldn't Robbinsdale, Warehouse, Nicollet Mall, and Snelling be shown as transfer stations?
Thanks again. Already added the Emerson-Fremont alignment.Proposed amendment to the 2030 Transportation Policy PlanThanks. Do you have a source for this? For A-BRT, Penn and Emerson Av N have been added, basically following the 5 and 19 routes to Brooklyn Center.

Re: Twin Cities Future Transit Map
I'd like to hear your proposals for future commuter rail frequencies
Commuter lines:
Northstar to St. Cloud
Rush Line
Red Rock to Hastings
NLX
Example:
[tab=30]Every :30, 6am — 9am, 3pm — 6pm; Every :60, 9am — 3pm, 6pm — midnight. Last Nort/South-bound train leaves X station at x time.

Re: Twin Cities Future Transit Map
Here's an early sneak peak of the final map. I added the info section detailing Metro, aBRT, and Commuter Rail lines. There is enough room there to include terminal stations, frequency of service and, potentially, travel time from end to end of each line.
Anything planned for the HWY 36?
More polishing job to come. Take the aBRT lines, for example. We have 10 lines right now, but I'd like to see this number double. Especially when it comes to St. Paul and the East Side... they could use a little love. Also, my commuter line placement was all over the place, so I'm keeping that layer off the map for the time being.

Re: Twin Cities Future Transit Map
Why is there no express routes for the LRT? The stop and go is ridiculous!
