The city has already approved this project and 1368 L. Appears we're just waiting for these projects to get financing.

Their lease in 50 South Sixth is for around 250k sq ft IIRC. Dorsey & Whitney couldn't anchor anything much bigger than 50 S Sixth (30 floors/404 feet). Unless they plan to expand big time...

I heard a rumor that Mike Opat is working with the business community behinds the scenes to get support for a plan that would put the stadium over by Target Field (farmers market site). A number of cities have their NFL stadiums outside the urban core. Minneapolis will survive without an NFL team. Without the Vikings using the dome, it can be demolished and the area can be redeveloped into parkspace, and TOD development. The LRT station isn't moving after all.
