I agree with this. Bones-wise, downtown St. Paul is arguably better than downtown Minneapolis.

Building on twincitizen’s comment, I wonder if now might be an opportunity to try to fix the incoherent system of one-way roads.

Also apparently the 25-year lease is up for Xcel Energy so the arena could get a new name this summer.

The point is that if there’s no Xcel Energy Center there’s effectively no downtown St. Paul at this point.
