It could if they decide to take inspiration from something like Dore Alley.Page 2 and again on page 5
"We also look at 9th St (a dead end stub) as the perfect opportunity to host infamous Minneapolis block parties."
I do not think that word means what you think it means...

Drop a tornado on 33 6th, and we can do something like 100 Van Ness in SF.

Musicians are included. On the rental site there's a fairly lengthy list of who can be considered an artist.

Moar purple. And less purple.I think this could be a cool addition elsewhere downtown though. (but with more glass)
We could call it the Targaryen building.
(Also, I could picture this along Nicollet in Loring. Perhaps the NE corner of 15th and Nic.)

Re: Twin Cities' National and Global Image
As someone who grew up in Duluth, there was a huge push on Facebook to promote voting. And then there was a push by the city and Mayor Don Ness, businesses offering free goodies if you voted, etc. I had a really hard time deciding between Minneapolis and Duluth when they faced off against each othe...

Yes, it's the entire complex that's bring worked on, but I don't really know what the plan is for the grain elevators n the back. The developers/owners could always commission artwork to cover the silos. http://www.publicinterestdesign.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/StoredPotential2.jpg This was do...

I have a friend who rents a 1 br in downtown Anoka for $600 a month. I've lived in the same place in Whittier a block off of Lyndale since 2007. In that time my rent has gone from $700 to $765 a month which I thought was getting a bit steep. You guys are making me feel better. Yeah, that's not bad....

Re: MPLS 500K
Why didn't the Downtown Council just use the Central Community definition (North Loop, Downtown West, Downtown East, Loring Park, Elliot Park, and Stevens Square/Loring Heights? I would imagine that the legal definition of "downtown" would be the simplest and have the most easily comparabl...

I'm pretty sure this is why the owner(s?) of the 3 story Kensington Apartments building sitting adjacent to the tower has been seeking to demo the structure which houses rare affordable downtown housing in favor of a commercial structure. Just sayin', I mean, how many studio apartments can you find...

Artwork depicting Norse mythology EVERYWHERE. The Vikings could really run wild with the team's identity and come up with some borderline frightening imagery. Read up on the Ragnarok (Norse apocalypse) if you haven't before- it's pretty insane. At least they've managed to work the Gjallarhorn into ...
