The now demolished Walgreen's on east lake st was a good example of chain store actually embracing storefront windows. There were no shelves against them and you could actually see products and customers inside.

US Bank at Raymond & University is closing and being sold for redevelopment along with the adjacent parcel to the east. Rumor is 'student housing' whatever that means. The project on the south side of University Ave at Hampden Ave has finished up. I think it looks really good. Nice big windows, simple and elegant detailing.

US Bank sent a letter that they have acquired a site at 36th & E Lake St. and will open by summer 2021. Looks like it's the former Tim Horton's/ White Castle site. Image
