Like Malcom yards, they have the license and operate the bars/ tap wall. Vendors are all just food, but you can take liquor into their leased spaces. Same for East Street. Didn't GSA spend like 200m renovating the Whipple a few years back? It would make more sense to consolidate federal offices there from downtown. Still served somewhat well by transit.

They had a neighborhood open house last night, but I couldn't attend. They will be starting on the hotel and one retail/ hospitality building this year IIRC.

There doesn't appear to be a separate tax parcel for the transit station, it's all owned by Midtown Exchange Commons Llc, a Ryan Cos holding company. When the market is right, I'd bet they will develop portions of the surface lots.

A novel idea- rebuilding the old Chalet style streetcar waiting station at Lake Harriet. Love it. Park board should sign off, and pitch in some cash.
