It should be a priority to come up with a connection between TFS and the Cedar Lake Trail.

Re: Green Line (Central Corridor LRT)
This thread moves fast, so this might have been brought up already, but the University-Huron intersection is a total mess with the signaling. I ate an entire slice of Mesa pizza waiting for the eastbound light to turn green. I would presume the light did turn green, but there is a car that illegall...

Re: Orange Line (35W BRT) & Lake St Transit Access Project

Re: Southwest LRT (Green Line Extension)
If this goes forward will it pretty much seal the deal on there never being a route through uptown? That's why I think they should drop the 21st Street station, and single track (at grade) through the Kenilworth corridor. That way it would be an extremely low cost switch to route SWLRT down the Gre...

Re: Green Line (Central Corridor LRT)
Road the Green Line today. Saw cars constantly blocking the intersection at Washington and Huron causing significant delays to trains. Has anybody witnessed this?

Re: Blue Line (Hiawatha LRT)
I took the Blue Line from 46th St. to TFS on Sunday. I was coming from Highland so I parked on S. 36th Ave. (I didn't realize how close the creek is!). Anyway, I'd never approached this station from anywhere on foot and I was dismayed by the pedestrian experience. Not knowing better, I walked along...

Re: Upper Mississippi -- No Locks For You
My guess is for the cruises that operate from Bohemian Flats. With closing of the Upper St. Anthony locks, why keep the Lower locks open or the Ford locks? Is there anything above the Ford locks that needs barge access?

Re: LRT Disappointments
Is it broken if it never worked in the first place?Really? They've left it broken for how many years, planning to fix it when the Green Line opened, and now they're still going to miss the opening?

Re: LRT Disappointments
And no Nextrip on LRT's is a weird oversight. OMGTransit can't get the data, because the data doesn't exist yet. But they're working on it. My understanding there was some issue with a vendor when the original line was built. Last I heard NexTrip for trains is planned to go live in July. Edit: 2014...

I think it's actually this product as it has been used quite often in this area.

How's the pedestrian access to the new outlet mall?I went down to the Cedar Grove stop last Friday, since I was bored enough to check on the progress of the outlet mall..

Is that a bike stairway leading up the stairs or will there be a railing along there?

Re: Target Field Station
Signs are on the platform. The old platform is Target Field Platform 1 and the new platform is Target Field Platform 2. It is nice operating into the tail tracks. Still training passengers to exit at Target Field. It was nice being able to catch a northbound train before heading south at Warehouse ...

Re: Southwest Corridor (Green Line Extension)
Seems the discussion of station area "betterments" is getting put off and off, with the costs rising with delays fewer and fewer betterments are seen as being implemented. The shocker was that around the Shady Oak Station the SPO isn't budgeting connecting 17th to the OMF, connecting 17th...

Re: Green Line (Central Corridor LRT)
Yes, but looking West on Vadalia, there is what I would call a standard train signal with three lights, one being red. Why the change here instead of the bars? Something like this- http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2cfPIanUUn4/UfWfaXYIulI/AAAAAAAAW6M/pyqHIefpcQ0/s1600/PAT_42-Washington-Jct-14N-Clear.jpg I ...

Sioux Falls pizza restaurant expanding to Minneapolis Boss' Pizza and Chicken is opening a Minneapolis location, its first outside of South Dakota. Owner Jeremy Seefeldt, who has Boss' in Sioux Falls, said the restaurant should be open in the next few weeks at 5501 34th Ave. S. in south Minneapolis...

It was not. Thank you again for the link.I certainly didn't intend for the link to be read as a dismissive "you should already know this". It was more of a "Here it is, over in the restaurant thread". Sorry if that was misinterpreted.
