Re: Ayd Mill Road

It's a pity that the summit ave bridge is being replaced now and not after the bicycle path was put in.... perhaps they would have been able to engineer in a vertical connection to summit ave from ayd mill.

Re: Kraus Anderson Dev at Raymond & University (form US Bank branch)

Does anybody know if this project is still set to go? Other than the bank being closed, I didn't see any real progress the last time I drove by.

Re: Allianz Field and Snelling-Midway Development

I see that the building that housed the construction offices for the stadium (on the west side of Snelling) was demolished. Any idea what’s going on?

Re: Seven Corners Gateway Site / Radisson Red

I haven't heard of anything planned for this parcel but today I noticed that all of the light poles have been removed from this site, and there is a large pile of jersey barriers neatly arranged in the middle.

I noticed some jersey barriers and a rather big hole being dug at Selby and Grotto. Does anyone have any information on this project?

This is a nice opportunity that could help to bridge the gap between Lowertown and the Rice Park/7th street area.

That particular Dunn Bros was the only game in town but they were never open past 6pm. If they had been, maybe they´d still be in business?

Re: Soccer Stadium and Snelling-Midway Development

I don't think it's the color, per se, that's giving me cheap vibes. It very well might play a role, but I think it just looks...incomplete? Not the building itself, which obviously is, but when it first started going up I figured it was some sort of insulation or other material that would be covere...

Re: O'Gara's Development - 164 Snelling Ave N

I hope Ryan Cos. gets pushback on the parking. 205 parking stalls for 163 apartments and a small amount of office and retail is excessive. This property is on the A-Line, will be on the B-Line in the future, is directly across the street from a grocery store, and is two blocks away from a daycare. ...

Re: Bicycle Infrastructure

A few weeks ago I saw that crews were ripping up Jackson Street in front of Regions Hospital to complete the Jackson Street bikeway that will go from University Ave to (almost) the river. What a pity that at Kellogg the trail essentially ends a block short with really no indication of how to get the...

Re: Weyerhaueser site redevelopment - 700 Emerald St

I don´t see any street level retail in the plans. That´s a pity. If there was just one storefront that could hopefully become a neighborhood coffee shop, that would greatly enhance the experience of living there. Especially for senior citizens, who often don´t have an opportunity to interact with ot...

Re: University of Minnesota - General Topics & Development Map

That´s great.
Hopefully it´ll become a residential development. It´d be nice to have something smaller to offset the larger developments in the area (2700, Emerald Berry, 808 Berry, and Metro Lofts)

Re: Soccer Stadium and Snelling-Midway Development

Man, so we're just going to push on and pretend that Snelling Station, as is, will be capable of handling MLS crowds, huh? I think that before and after game time, to help with moving people on and off the platforms, they should allow diagonal crossing, something like they have on Colorado Blvd in ...
