Re: Downtown East Project (Ryan Companies / Wells Fargo)

I was searching myself and couldn't find it, thought someone might have it off hand or know where to find it. No need to go looking for me.

Re: Downtown East Project (Ryan Companies / Wells Fargo)

Can someone refer me to a link of the renderings showing signage on the building? I don't remember seeing these.

That's really too bad. It could make some kick ass loft apartment conversion in a pretty cool neighborhood! I lived in Marcy Holmes years ago and loved it!

Re: Red 20 - (20 6th Street Northeast, former Totino's site)

Well, what's going on with this building? I feel like there's been a rendering on the side of it forever but nothing has come of it.

Re: Uptown Retail News

I noticed a new sign (Blue Construction) in the last retail space in the Greenleaf Apartments on Lyndale. Anyone have a clue if something is moving in? I've really liked the retail they've put into that building so far, I think it's been a great addition to the neighborhood.

2006 Saturn Ion for the 3 of us. I take transit to downtown St. Paul. My wife and son took the train until a recent day care changed forced them to start driving. My wife hates driving but it is that or an hour bus ride with transfers. Just curious, ever have problems with your ion starting in the ...

Re: Car Ownership

2 for 2 people. I have a 2012 Honda Civic (lease) and he has a 2012 Nissan Rogue (company car). I work in Minnetonka and his job takes him all over the metro so public transit isn't an option for us. If I worked downtown I'd totally take the bus or walk.

Re: Theater Garage Marquee Apartments - (Franklin & Lyndale)

What really makes me mad about the people opposing this is that I as just in Chicago this weekend and stayed with a friend who owns a million dollar home in the Southport neighborhood. The houses on either side of his are literally 1.5 feet from his windows... believe it or not, he still get's light...

Re: The Walkway - (1312 West Lake Street)

They have some new interior shots on their website and these apartments look amazing! Looks almost boutique, like each one is different. Very unlike everything else that's going up where everything is cookie cutter throughout the building. Check them out. http://www.thewalkway.com/photo-gallery/

So, when it all comes down to it... how much do the people of the neighborhood actually have a say in whether or not a project goes through?

Re: The Eclipse

You're fudging those numbers. An eight minute driving radius from downtown doesn't get you out of Minneapolis
It does if you're going West toward SLP/Minnetonka. I live at Lyndale/Franklin and can get to work in Minnetonka in 10 minutes with no traffic.

Re: Calhoun Square

I would love to see a Target Express or City Target with the development of the empty Calhoun Square lot. Also, housing on top of CB2 would be great. I believe it was designed to be built on top of at a later point, right?

I'm a little surprised they aren't connecting the three phases of Elan via skyway for ease of leasing staff and shared amenities between the three.
