Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

In other random Loring Park news, the old King and I Thai space is going to be reworked into more apartments: http://minneapolismn.gov/www/groups/public/@cped/documents/webcontent/wcms1p-124062.pdf I don't know if that was mentioned anywhere- I couldn't find it. Looks like the end of the decision p...

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

I heard King and I is becoming housing... Oh my bad I hadn't heard that. Where did you find that info? The Maryland must have figured they could make more money expanding their Sec8 housing. Lotus could move to LPM although I bet the rent for that space would be much higher than where they currentl...

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

Why not raze the SA and make a multi-level Trader Joe's? That would be something I could get behind. Have Lotus move across the street to where King & I Thai used to be? Yeah

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

bapster2006: I agree, I prefer a large, single basin sink to a double basin any day, it can fit way more dishes and larger dishes are easy to wash by hand.

Here is the photo, I apologize for how grainy it is but it shows how bright those lights are.

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

While I regret to digress from the single basin/double basin sink debate, did anyone else see they had the frosted glass backlit last night? Holy crap was it ever bright. If they light it again tonight, I will take a photo and post.

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

The must have been having too much fun today... all sorts of fire trucks, and police and smoke... I live less than a block away and there are fire trucks there quite often. I believe they are there because occasionally, on the north side of the building, there looks like there is a fire burning in ...

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

It seems the north side of the crown/top floor look different than the south side (pictured). Does anyone know why that may be?

Re: LPM Apartments - (376' - 36 Stories)

Longtime lurker here. The website has been updated to include floor plans & pricing! I just got an email about the Crystal Court leasing center being open. Looks like the cheapest unit they have is a studio at $1611/month and the most expensive 3br penthouse at $4852. Looks like I won't be movin...
