Re: Hiawatha-Minnehaha Corridor - General Topics
Not sure we need more self storage on Hiawatha but I definitely wish some of my street parking neighbors would look into it.

Hmmm, I don’t remember if this one was approved.Dirt being moved this morning at 3801 Hiawatha. Is this for something, or are they just landscaping the empty lot?

Re: Southside - News & General Topics
Interesting. Thought this lot might be heading for another Mod42 type development. Good to keep Angry Catfish in the hood. Still miss the hardware store though.

60 on 394 is fine. I would’ve kept the Crosstown at 55. Not many places where people are speeding on that stretch.

Re: B Line Lake St Rapid Bus, Midtown Rail Transit
Yeah, Lake St is already a mess. Especially in the winter when people still insist on parking on it on heavy snow years. Midtown rail could be so great, especially if they could line it up with the Blue and Green lines. Disappointing that we have heard so little about it from our politicians.

Re: Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board
The history does need to be communicated and its important to the area but I also dont see how that cant be done even if its switched from a 18 to a 9 hole. Could anyone give some insight on this? As a golfer, the preference is always to play 18 holes. Having 18 holes also allows more people to be ...

Re: George Floyd murder and aftermath
Harstad said it cost about $20,000 to clear the lot, once the site of an Arby's. Harstad said Arby's is not going to rebuild its restaurant, citing concern about the potential for more rioting if the police officers charged in Floyd's death are acquitted. Harstad has yet to find another tenant for ...

Unfortunately that's where we're at, with everything. Defund the police is a bold phrase. Police reform has been brought up forever, but the reform has been too slow. So we say, let's be bold. It clearly isn't working out.People have been willfully obtuse about this.
