Re: Southwest Corridor (Green Line Extension)
Lots of people that seemed to be in favor. The man who built up those apartments would like the line to be placed away from the pool house they just built 3 years ago because the train will come within 25' of it. 5 people had a chance to talk, me included. 4-1 in favor of it. The one man who was aga...

Re: Bicycle Infrastructure
I agree with sean here, when I was trying to get around West Bank and explore that part of Minneapolis for the first time on bike, I got really lost. The routes just didn't seem to make sense, this does

Re: General Discussion Thread - Chanhassen
But it matches very well with the natural area around it. Especially with the wetlands and lakes in Eden Prairie. Chanhassen is very similar in that way Hard to get a good shot of it from streetview but I gave it a try, here's one in EP http://goo.gl/P3FdVS And another on that's next to the Southwes...

Re: General Discussion Thread - Chanhassen
Looks like every other relatively new one story building in any suburb
Yes, but this is a new thing in Chanhassen. They currently have 3 very outdated retail strips and 2 are now in the planning, one is already in.

I hope. I know that Elan Phase 2 is in talks with making a bridge with picnic benches and gardens underneath that would connect to 29th

I feel stupid about 80% of the time on here because I don't have as much experience since I'm young enough to be one of your kids

Chanhassen - Chaska - Carver County
Now some of you may laugh when I say that Chanhassen is a suburb, but today I realized how much it really is growing. There are 2 new retail strips being built during the summer. Both will be taking over existing gas stations that are off of highway 5. One will take over a place called Ivans http://...

Re: Nicollet-Central Corridor
you'd know that the above post will not only do nothing to sway him to your side, but it will probably infuriate him! Yeah I figured that. It's just that I've been annoyed lately that people have been focusing more on timing and speed lately. Speed can be fixed. It's called innovation. Trains can b...

Re: Nicollet-Central Corridor
matt you seem to not like trains. Just what I've gathered from other threads. What needs to be realized is that this is a tourist thing. Many people will use it because they like it better than the buses. If KrapMart is ever demolished it would most likely be extended south, therefore people can go ...
