Re: Site Uptime
This used to happen to me as well, and it is incredibly annoying. I fixed it by clearing my browser/cookies. I'm not sure what I can do from the admin end to fix this for you unfortunately. We're working on getting some eyes on these issues that know more about phpBB and back-end hosting stuff. I'll...

Re: Images
I'm tentatively planning on going out and taking pictures on Sunday, assuming weather and schedules permit. Giving a head's up so two people don't go out on the same day again, not that it's bad exercise. You should warn me beforehand so when the suspicious activity reports start coming in you don'...

Re: Site Uptime
Should be server-end maintenance which is routine. Nothing we can do about it from our end besides wait it out or refresh, it should take a few minutes at most for it to restart and work again.

Those errors may happen occasionally but they should correct themselves very quickly.

Re: Car Sharing
If you report the location and time (or license plate if you get it) to Car2Go (or whoever it is) they will probably start monitoring that person or inform them they need to tighten up their driving habits. They're pretty concerned with tickets/reckless driving/complaints.

Re: Minnescraper Archive
UrbanMSP.com/archive will show you the old Minnescraper site. I can't remove that initial page, however you can just bookmark the main page here: https://forum.streets.mn/archive/Minnescrape ... index.html

Re: Minnescraper Archive
Any way for you to send the files my way? If so, I can get them up at UrbanMSP.com/Minnescraper or /Archive, whatever y'all prefer.
Dropbox may be a good way to send them over. Otherwise I can give you FTP access and just have you upload them yourself if that works.

Re: Current & Proposed Downtown Minneapolis Projects
I'm looking at a way to get the map its own page or tab on the site since it should be more easily accessible than it currently is. I'll see what I can do. Thanks for keeping it up!

Re: 2024 Olympic Bid?
IF we were to actually bid it would have to be single city bid - two cities have attempted a join bid in the past and it was quickly shot down. STP would host a lot of events I'm sure but it would likely be the Minneapolis Olympics.

Re: Current & Proposed Downtown Minneapolis Projects
Just FYI - myself and a number of co-workers and friends who do not regularly visit the site frequently check this map to see what developments are proposed and springing up around town. Thank you all who maintain this map. If there's anything I can do to make it easier or improve the map just let m...

Aaaaaaaand We're Back!
Thank you all for bearing with us during this (not so) brief website outage. I would like to give credit for the outage to Site5 webhosting. Human error during routine maintenance corrupted a partition and forced us to roll back to a backup version from the 25th, which took nearly two days since we'...

Re: Site Uptime
Yes - it is an issue with the specific server that we're hosted on. We've dropped below the minimum required up time from our host so we can ask to switch, which I will be doing now. I will update you on whether we're switching and what to expect for up time. My guess is that someone else that is ho...

Re: Google Maps
I would really like to make the maps a bigger part of the site - we have the info and capability to be the go-to place to check what projects are going on around the metro area. If anyone has suggestions how to do this, I'm open to ideas.
