Re: Minnesota Transportation Funding (General)
Another thing to consider: The reason this state is majority DFL isn't the Twin Cities, it's the Iron Range that pushes the democrats over the in both chambers and statewide. Unfortunately, they are also some of the same demographics which Trump is polling strong with. They even got socked by unfair...

MinnPost article making the case for SWLRT on a job distribution basis: https://www.minnpost.com/community-voices/2016/08/southwest-lrt-will-help-ease-mismatch-between-urban-job-seekers-and-metro-j It's ironic that many, maybe even most, of those jobs for reverse commuters are in industrial sites t...

Yep, so this project is happening. I hope nothing delays it after the tenants move out.

I find it pretty hypocritical that the U protested the Harbor Bay tower all the while developing this project right down the street.

Mayor Coleman seems to be pretty optimistic about this happening: http://m.startribune.com/mayor-to-propose-2017-budget-for-st-paul-today/389613691/?section=local Pledging for 3,000 new jobs in 3 years, focused on high poverty areas of the city. Gee, I wonder what could fit that bill? This might be ...

Too many words. Not edgy enough for today's luxury apartments. Try "The Prom.", "Pr0men^de" or "Promenade^2"'Promenade On The Promenade'

Re: 365 Nicollet - (Opus Ritz block)
Nicollet is under construction until at least late 2017. Also, if something doesn't happen soon on this block with a skyway connection then the Gateway project is toast. No Skyway-no four seasons, according to UPs project team.

Re: Embassy Suites (Plymouth Building) - 12 6th Street S
I hear from management that they almost had a deal with Buffalo Wild Wings recently, but the city wouldn't agree to the signage that they wanted, and some outdoor statue. So not sure if they are still courting Giordano's. Damn, so yet another street level space will sit vacant. Does anyone else fee...

Re: Stadium LRT Station, Ped Bridge & Plaza (MSFA block)
Today the plaza has several trucks including a semi parked on it and setting up stuff for the soccer game tonight. I also remember that they wanted to use the plaza for tailgating and other fan zones. That's probably why you don't see any trees or green space there, function over form.

Re: 205 Park Avenue - Mill District Ramp Parcel
It's just post-hoc justification. Members likely knew that this exact proposal was going to come out and wanted to set up the RFP to exclude practically everything else.
