Re: Wikipedia
If I can think of any Minneapolis-related Wikipedia article that needs a drastic change (expansion), it is the official "Downtown Minneapolis" page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central,_Minneapolis . Either that or there needs to be a brand new page for Downtown Minneapolis as a CBD, rat...

Re: Bottineau LRT (Blue Line Extension)
It is unrealistic to go through with three major transit projects in the same metro in the same 3 years. I would say UNLIKELY, but not unrealistic. Denver currently has 5 major transit projects (3 commuter rail, 1 LRT, 1 BRT) under construction. So to say it's unrealistic is incorrect given that it...

Re: Bottineau LRT (Blue Line Extension)
What is the most recent timeline for construction? Has it been delayed much? Could we see the blue line construction start before the green line extension is completed? Last I heard (which was last week), Bottineau is still planned to open during late 2021. The goal is for the construction on both ...

Re: Riverview Corridor (Alternatives Analysis)
There is never going to be LRT AND streetcar in this corridor. Full stop. If LRT is chosen along the RR corridor, it will be tough sledding to even upgrade the 54 to the "B-Line" aBRT. You're right, that was a point that I was going to bring up but decided against simply because of time. ...

Re: Riverview Corridor (Alternatives Analysis)
My two cents: (repeated from a while back) SPUD out of DTSTP using the abandoned FORD spur. I think the more pedestrians the better in the SPUD concourses. That's what it was designed for and that's what it should be used for. I have nothing against yoga classes or tango lessons... But with each pa...

That is why they bought the rights.I think people were more confused on what CHS really does and why they bought the rights

Re: Public Transit News and Happenings
Complete change of subject by a relatively novice member: Whatever happened with the proposed St. Paul funicular project connecting Downtown to Cathedral Hill? I know it didn't manage to win funding from the Forever St. Paul Challenge last year, but is the idea still moving forward at all or is ther...

Re: Gateway Corridor
The positive side is that even with the route running north of 94, it still comes relatively close to all of the major Woodbury destinations (Tamarack Village, the State Farm Bldg. "CityPlace" development, Cabela's, Walmart/Citywalk, etc.) without having to cause major traffic disruptions ...

Re: Gateway Corridor
I just want to note that in my post above I accidentally listed green as being a primary color (in addition to a secondary color) instead of red. Not sure why I did that, but don't worry, I know the three primary colors.

Re: Gateway Corridor
I think the concept of "wasting" good colors refers to saving the primary colors (Blue, Green, Yellow) and the more commonly seen secondary colors (Green and Orange) for the more prominent and highly used portions of the METRO system - light rail lines. The color branding is meant to be si...

Re: Target Field Station
Does anyone know what the 9 vertical columns are for? (The main plaza of the field has 9 vertical columns, each one is lit up at the beginning of each inning). Earlier today each column face was displaying a series of numbers. (please let me know if photo link doesn't work -- I'm new to the forum) ...

Re: St. Louis Park - General Topics
Some updates on the previously-mentioned Wooddale Flats condo project on the Most Holy Trinity site: The advertising signs for the project that had been on site for a while came down quite a while ago, but now new ones are up listing the condo prices at $350,000 and, if I remember correctly, saying ...

I have been planning on joining this site for a while, as I check it regularly for updates. But, since I remembered there being a SimCity thread, I decided I would finally join so I could share this: http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/29358-hiawatha-bank-tower/?st=20#commentsStart .
