Parkwood's ongoing blockading of streets during 169's closure, causing significant disruption to their neighbors, has also been noted and will be remembered. Not a great way to win friends and influence people.

Gpete- that's how I see it too; it's interesting that some No-voting senators with muni liquor stores don't seem to see it that way, and that so many of the No-voters lack even that excuse...

So they're planning to include a substantial amount of "community space" after all? To be honest, I would much rather see that space used for more mixed retail/residential than most of the concepts presented. I mean, does Edina really have a shortage of fitness centers? The two fitness bus...

The developer works with the city for a year and pretty much meets all the residents' demands for redesigns and street access, etc....and still gets shot down. For what it's worth, that Schaeffer Rd. loop is very much needed (I walk in that area all the time). There is a decent amount of traffic, including lots of both locals and non-locals speeding off 169 and tons of kids. Adding the sidewalks greatly improves West Edina's access to Hopkins as well as Va...
