Judicial races are non-partisan, and list no party identification on the ballot. Do you think that's the model we want for our city council?

Blinking, ouch mine eyes! You should strip out all the non-funded, non-built projects/lines, and blink between those two.

Tear down the Guthrie and Southeast Library, leave Riverside Plaza. Alas, poor Rapson.

Re: Mall of America - Bloomington
An American Boulevard station would better interline with westbound routes, facilitate with a MOA 3.0 in the north side of AB (replacing Marriott/Thunderbird), and could even connect with an inline Ceder Avenue BRT station, should this ever occur (not that any BRT alignment wouldn't exit Ceder and s...

Re: Mall of America - Bloomington
I don't see why everyone wants the LRT station to move to Lindeau Lane, between the Mall and Mall 2.0. When completed, the mall would be big enough for two stations, one at the current location, and another on the American Boulevard side of the expansion.

What could be more intimidating than a clear glass roof being pelted with 10-12 inches of snow, on the verge of collapse?

Re: Transit News and Happenings
With transfer-Cleveland, transfer-Snelling, and transfer-Fort Road all coming to this point, I think a better designed (and forward thinking) plan could be made for all the buses before they drive the neighborhood absolutely mad. Even if its just to knock down a stripmall and reconfigure its parking...

What is also needed is a transit facility in Highland Park. I hear there's some real estate opening up fairly soon.

Re: The Virginia Triangle (Hennepin & Lyndale Bottleneck)
I don't see how this is an improvement. Groveland is no easier to cross. Northbound Hennepin would now zipper-merge with southbound Lyndale, in about 40 feet of shared roadway? 94 to south Lyndale zippers with north Lyndale for about 20 feet? It's a very pretty picture, but I wouldn't want to drive ...

Re: Transit News and Happenings
There are several bridges between north/northeast Minneapolis with no local bus service (Plymouth Ave, Broadway, St. Anthony Parkway). South of downtown, the few bridges are served with many excess lines. Want to increase crosstown transit options? Build a bridge over the Mississippi from 38th Stree...

Its midway between St. Paul and the Airport/MOA, and a hopeful area for some more river-related events, previously confined to Harriet Island. Why wouldn't you plan for hotels here?

Funny, in how utterly lame it is. Is it comedy? His Facebook page lists him as "Comedian"? That must be a violation of the Terms of Use, no comedian could come up with something this lame. Here's my reply: "Hey Des Moines, this is America! My "S" isn't silent, Frenchie!"

How much money just to add giraffes, lions, and hippos? I can see giraffes and lions free at Como (though they do look half dead). Want to impress me? Get a flipping elephant. Hippos would be cool, but only if I can see them from underwater. Otherwise, I don't care about campsites, corporate party s...

So, what about electric bicycles (http://www.coolhunting.com/tech/stromer-electric-bicycles.php). Could Nice Ride kiosks also act as recharging stations for electric bikes? And if we can get self-balancing, or four-wheeled, rechargeable electric bike with driverless technology, is this the "PRT...

And cluster the valuations around the stations. If I'm 1/4 mile from a station, I wouldn't want my tax burden increasing the same rate as someone on the doorstep.
