Re: Road Crime
I'm guessing there is an elevated freeway behind the photographer. The detached street-facing garage made me think 62 by the airport, but I'm wrong.

Re: Crime
That is some good resolution for a front door cam, but oddly positioned. Like it was set up just to film this subject, and not just as a rando "front door box thief" camera. Am I wrong?

But will it be nicer than the Four Seasons Philadelphia? Or that other Four Seasons on Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis? (Seriously, that is a swanky looking place) https://www.facebook.com/4seasonsdance

Ten years per rail line is about right on schedule. 2004-Hiawatha, 2014-Central, 2024?-Southwest.

Even has a table/window eating area looking at the LRT station for quick stops-and-goes. But I'd be money that after the first two grab-and-gos, that door gets locked up for security

Why do I only see the word "Image" and not an actual picture in the previous post (and in other posts)?

That weird green is the exterior? I thought it was just insulation.

Peggy Flanagan would be a solid pick. Naming Craig would put the 2nd back on the table in a low-turnout special election.

Yes, no one believes that Tim Kaine was the reason Hillary Clinton lost her election.

They charge $10-$15 a cone, and the line is out the door constantly. What are they screwing up?

With the black tiles off and multiple colors of blue and green insulation exposed, I think we missed a real chance to get this thing in some bold, primary colors. Someone call Valspar, I have a job for them.

From the article https://finance-commerce.com/2020/05/developer-wants-brewery-in-former-grain-silos/ “Friendship Academy is also redeveloping the building right across the street from them, so that little intersection back that there that has been neglected for a long time will definitely be getting...

Re: Bicycle Infrastructure
Even if the design is weird, they are bridging a park/trail to an industrial area with one egress point? I guess the space is limited, but try to serve the residents by connecting at Hampshire Ave. And why is there no connection from the Louisiana Ave bridge to the Cedar Lake Trail (that I can see)?

But is it site activity, or spillover from the sewer work going on the Hiawatha bridge?

Re: MPS Comprehensive District Design
Interesting, no more community K-8s. The K-8s in my area (Lake Nokomis, Folwell, Field/Hale) going to K-5 may be in improvement, smaller area focus hopefully means smaller school population. It also looks like it will be easier to close schools in the future, if all the adjacent schools have the sam...

Re: MPS Comprehensive District Design
North is already empty because everyone now open enrolls to Hopkins or Minnetonka. Perhaps the thinking is "maybe if our attendance area looks more well-off, the local families will treat the local school with more respect and work to improve it." I think any Kenwood family that can afford private s...

"Open" means open to cars. Doesn't need to be a freeway, but there should be an allowance for autos, else why are we spending tax dollars on it.

Re: MPS Comprehensive District Design
Me personally, I don't have a big problem. We live two blocks from Roosevelt, so kids are going to go there, and we're not affected by the elementary school program shifts. Overall, I don't know how MPS expects to get those Kenwood and Uptown(not Uptown) families to North every day, relying on Metro...
