Re: MSP Airport
The A380 has been here at least 3 times that I can remember. Once when Airbus brought one in to try and sell to NWA. The other two times I can remember have been British Airways LAX to LHR came here on a medical this flight came in rather late. The second one was a Lufthansa flight also I think from...

Re: MSP Airport
Just an update on the new T2 gates they are now being used. They only seem to be used by SW airlines at this point.
I also love the 2-2 seating arrangement on the E175s. I got to fly United Plus on an E175 from MSP to LAX. I remembered a really smooth flight.

Re: MSP Airport
Grand opening today, 10/20, of additional gates at T-2 Ever since the additional gates have opened I have not seen a single jet use any of the new gates yet. Once more seasonal routes start that may change. SW it seems still only use four gates and SC gets the other six, however needs to let Condor...

Re: MSP Airport
Does anybody have any information on the Virgin Atlantic flight #VS9956? It just left this morning from MSP. Could it have been for the Ryder Cup team? It is an A340-600 flying to LHR. However it flew here from JFK last night, think they flew full of passengers to JFK and once the jet was empty load...

Re: MSP Airport
So on 4/30 (Saturday) I was was in T1, and saw a Delta B747-400. On route to Tokyo NRT. I love the look of a B747. Here is one looking forward to more random times a jet this size comes into MSP. On a look of random flights to NRT it seems the B777 will be coming back for summer use. Also the A340 f...

Re: MSP Airport
In case anybody ever using T2 wondered if B747 can use one of the gates? Your answer would be yes. For the past year the largest jets I have seen using T2 are the B767 from Condor. Tonight around 1900 a United B747-400 (744) taxied its self over to what seemed at first past all the gates then a shar...

Re: Black Lives Matter, The Police, etc.
Sorry for the confusion. My post was in reply what Mpls wrote. I forgot to delete what you posted. The topic of privatization of public spaces or in some cases the idea of private spaces being considered public is a good topic. That has been brought up on this forum in the past. Was it in the Viking...

Re: Black Lives Matter, The Police, etc.
Trying to act like what is clearly private property is somehow public property is a waste of time and not what this country is about. No shit, this country is built on pillaging black bodies. Seem to recall it was mostly White European's from the "lesser" countries doing a lot of the digg...

Re: MSP Airport
Just an FYI Monday and Tuesday should be heavy volume for airfreight. Then somewhat of a drop on Wednesday. Then peak will be pretty much over. The cycle then starts over.

So this is making news nation wide. "Black Lives Matter protesters to rally at Mall of America" http://www.seattletimes.com/business/black-lives-matter-protesters-to-rally-at-mall-of-america/ What is it with protesters and the idea that preventing (confronting) people from shopping will so...

Re: MSP Airport
The B747 is something we don't see pretty much at all. The B767 Delta uses on all international flights save for Tokyo that use a B777. Condor and now Iceland Air also use the B767, I just saw from Wiki the flights to Rome are from Delta. Start date is May 27 2016

Re: MSP Airport
The viewing area has been under construction for a couple weeks now. Many people I work with do not see the big deal. The increased traffic and perceived expectation that Cargo road is a "non-public" road some of my coworkers like to spread. Being in a position to work with some of the lar...

I wonder why only lay out the infrastructure for only one of the stops being cut? I noticed They cut out a small chunk at the end. Meaning I just answered my Q. However did I miss the documents that stated the line will be extended to the original length in the future? So if that is the case why not...

Re: MSP Airport
Just a heads up Condor started nonstop to Frankfurt. They used a B767. First flight I saw was yesterday in the evening. Very fun to see Air France A340, Condor B767, and Iceland Air B757 all at the same time!
The B767 and B757 parked right next to each other at T2.

Re: Downtown Hotel News
Hotels tend to be pretty guarded. I am not sure what credentials you showed when you asked about the Four Seasons expansion plans. Whatever the case maybe if I as an employee was asked about future hotels in any city my default answer would always be no.
