Some discouraging news on the HarMar front.

Big takeaways for me are:

- The property owner clearly does not have a vision beyond carving the building open to put more parking spots next to the existing retail, apart from a few new restaurants on the periphery of the property.

I'm not surprised that Har Mar is going to go by the wayside, but I am surprised that Cub is the only existing tenant planning to remain in the new development. Aren't B&N and K&G supposed to remain?

I wonder if the April-June 2027 Blue Line closure more or less confirms that the Green Line extension will not open before June. Metro Transit has never given more specificity than "2027" but that hasn't stopped us from wondering if it could open in March (or earlier) given that testing started ...

One of the Jackson Street bridges in St. Paul(the one over the railroad tracks) closed unexpectedly last week due to faster deterioration than Ramsey County was expecting.
