The DMC board has voted in favor of BRT over light rail for the downtown circulator.

The two routes for the BRT would be along second street and broadway.

Mayo announced plans to build a new 4 story research building downtown after a $32 million donation from the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen foundation. Groundbreaking is expected in 2020.
