Re: Southwest LRT (Green Line Extension)
Posting this year because it’s definitely directly related to the south west light rail. Anyone know if there still a business in the building located at 401 Royalston Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55405. The building is directly west of the Rosslyn station. I was walking by there a couple days ago, and note...

Re: Thrivent Headquarters Block - 6th St and Portland Ave
As long as the building has a good street frontage, I don’t necessarily care if it’s tall or not.

Re: Eden Prairie - General Topics
This is awesome! More development near south west light rail! Let’s hope the development is focused on lock ability and ease of connection to the train.

Re: Southwest LRT (Green Line Extension)
That’s awesome! The viewing area is going to look really neat. How deep is the shallow tunnel? Is it going to be somewhat similar to wear minnehaha Park crosses over the blueline?

Re: Southwest LRT (Green Line Extension)
Anyone have any pictures of what the shallow tunnel will look like under the Kenilworth Corredor? Will it be a landscape pedestrian area on top?

Re: Thrivent Headquarters Block - 6th St and Portland Ave
That would be cool. Doesn’t necessarily have to be super tall. I would be more concerned about the mix of uses.

Re: Southwest LRT (Green Line Extension)
I am a bit confused, have they actually started construction on this thing? I was down there at the end of March, and it didn’t look like much was going on. I wish we had an idea of the construction phasing. With that information it would be much easier to plan pictures Sent from my iPhone using Tap...

Have they figured out what’s going to be built on the southern portion of the driving book yet? The part of the block not currently occupied by the new headquarter building.

That’s good. Wonder if the new bridge will be wider. Would like to see the bridge get some pedestrian scale lighting.

Definitely exciting about construction starting. Interesting discussion further up about the views being obstructed. I can definitely understand both sides of the argument. The person who bought the condo obviously liked the view. I do think the realtor should look into things like this. It is impor...

Re: 581 Old Highway 8 — New Brighton
That’s really good! On a personal note, it annoys me when I see articles that referred to affordable housing and said articles don’t mention access to public transit. I can’t see, hence why am asking this question, how wide are the street crossings in that area? Will it be relatively easy for pedest...

Re: 581 Old Highway 8 — New Brighton
The article talks about low income families. How are these families going to get around. What transit options are there in that area? The article cited the fact that it’s close to downtown Minneapolis. How long does it take to get to downtown Minneapolis if you don’t drive? If there is transit servi...

Totally agree! Especially one that is located in such a prominent area. It will be even better once the block directly to the west of the project is developed.

Don’t know anymore detail, but this sounds like a good thing. Let’s get something better built there. The least they could do is wrap the parking garage in Apartments.

Re: CNU 2020
I’m pretty sure I’d try to carve out some of the days to try and attend some sessions. This seems like the sort of thing someone should also write a blog post for Streets.mn also. They really should write about this. My skills as a writer are mediocre at best, so I shall leave that to someone more ...

Correct! I am a little surprised that there does not seem to be much excitement/enthusiasm about this topic on the forum.

Re: Rafter - 333 Hennepin Ave E (290' - 26 stories)
I’m not as thrilled with the graphic quality of the building. It still bothers me that it does not look like the building that was approved by the planning commission.
