Is there an amount of bad job that the school district could do that would result in negative electoral consequences for the school board? The experience of basically every big city school district over the past fifty years suggests that there is not really a bottom.

Can someone explain to me why they are doing this. It seems like something the school district should not be investing time and money in given their current enrollment and financial situation. But I am not apart of the community that wants this school so I may be missing something.

This should be a focus of the city. Get folks in a room from the City, Developer, Hospitality Industry, etc and make it happen.

Hopefully, they can convert them to housing. One idea would be to take the inner part of each unit and make it a storage space for each unit. New homes have so much more storage than space than 30 years ago. Folks are used to filling up garages and large closets.

I think part of it has to do with online sales including bikes. Accessories are so much easier to buy online. Helmets and specific bike parts/upgrades during a maintenance are still items I buy in bike shops. But, I'm not buying lights or locks unless I need them right away.
