Re: Hillcrest golf course redevelopment site

Bill Lindeke had a nice article about the project as it stands today.

Re: Saint Paul - General Topics

I drove down Robert street again today and noticed that there was another fresh layer of asphalt on top of the one previously applied. Between Cesar Chavez and the railroad tracks to the north, it appears as if the road has indeed received a road diet. Heading north from Caesar Chavez, once you hit ...

Re: Saint Paul - General Topics

Anyone have any idea what is happening on Robert street south (west) of the river? I was under the impression this section was going to be given a road diet, but it appears as though they gave it a very thin skim coat of new asphalt, and they have repainted the lines as they were previously (4lanes)...

Re: St. Paul Restaurant News

I saw there was something about a liquor license for a new establishment going into the old Ward 6 space in the latest city council meeting. It’s called “East side bar”. Anyone know anything about it?

Re: Hillcrest golf course redevelopment site

The vast majority of SPPA projects are total duds that look like they're competing with Rogers or Shakopee for low-employment-density warehousing and manufacturing. https://www.sppa.com/commercial-redevel ... d-projects
Ooof. Nothing like any of those, please!

Re: Hillcrest golf course redevelopment site

I’m hoping the 2040 plan did not account for the land to be sold? Or am I wrong about this? I took a walk through the former golf course this past winter to check it out. On the northern end, there is a large hill with a great view that you can clearly see the Minneapolis skyline on a clear day. Thi...

The Heights - former Hillcrest golf course

I’d like to get some discussion started on the former Hillcrest golf course site on the city’s northeast corner. The site is nearly as large as the former Ford site, yet it seems to be flying under the public radar. I haven’t really heard anything about it as of yet. What would you like to see happe...

Re: St. Paul Restaurant News

There is a new restaurant that just opened on the corner of Stillwater and Hazel in the old Neville's bar and grill location called "Los Sanchez taqiera". I'm excited to try it out. The far east side desperately needs some more dining options so I hope the food is good and I hope they are ...
