Re: D Line - Fremont/Emerson/Chicago Rapid Bus
If you feel strongly about the lack of a station at 48th, I’d urge you to get involved and contact your elected officials immediately (Jeremy Schroeder most importantly). Remember that this project is being planned by Metro Transit staff. For better or worse (almost always worse), Metro Transit’s p...

Re: Orange Line (35W BRT) & Lake St Transit Access Project
I know it's too late now, but I wish the City or County could have stepped up to fund a center island BRT station at 38th Street. Not only would it connect with Route 23-Future-38, but it would provide another good walk-up transit option for the growing area along 38th St between Pleasant and Chica...

They are doing public input on the draft, so I would make sure you suggest adding it in!I know it's only 2 blocks from 46th but a little surprised they went with 52nd over 48th, considering it's a likely destination for some riders given the commercial node there.

St. Paul's Rondo community gets a glimpse of I-94 land bridge designs The bridge would cover part of Interstate 94, creating space for housing, businesses and parkland. http://www.startribune.com/st-paul-s-rondo-community-gets-a-glimpse-of-i-94-land-bridge-designs/470142293/ Does anyone have a link...

I agree with Robbinsdale, this should be more than just a giant parking structure. Disable your javascript if you would like to read the article.

Re: 2017-18 MN Legislative Session & Budget - Battle for the Senate Majority?
Yea and they shouldn't have to agree to a compromise. The GOP is just trying to bend laws in their favor like they always do.Yeah, I can't see how the DFL would agree to that "compromise" in any way.

http://m.startribune.com/the-drive-mpls-wants-d-line-on-the-a-list/466327193/ An update on the D Line, people are advocating for it to stay on the list for Current Revenue Scenario. In my honest opinion any where else in the world this line would be a subway or LRT.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapa...

Re: Twin Cities Future Transit Map
alexschief, I get it's a fantasy map and you did a really nice job with the professional design, but it's not clear who would use some of these lines. For example, who are the intended users of the Gold or Cyan lines? Seems like they'd require double transfers to provide that much use. His Cyan lin...

Re: Soccer Stadium and Snelling-Midway Development
Anyone hear any thing about what is going on with the bank at the corner of Snelling & University? The fencing and some covers are going up for the sidewalk. Is it just being razed or is something actually going up? It has two phases. 1) Before the end of 2017: Demolition of the building 2) Lat...

Yes, as long as Blue Line extension stays on time. It will open before SWLRT.So does that officially place the projected opening after the Blue Line Extension?

They had briefly proposed a higher intensity redevelopment of the site, but apparently felt like they didn't get the interest they were looking for. This one right? http://sr-re.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/160201-North-Loop-Office-Final-Render.jpg Really loved the looks of it. OMG, this would ha...
