Their site now redirects to http://aliatower.com/

Re: Upper Harbor Terminal

Why are keeping that useless industrial infrastructure?
For the "industrial relics" park... Does that maybe translate to the "save budget on site remediation and demolition" park?

Re: Eleven (Ryan Condo Tower) - 1111 West River Parkway - 43 stories / 526'

Sounds like the problem is people using WRP as a shortcut between the North Loop and 35W, not actul Mill District residents or workers. I believe the latter part of your statement to be correct. I can't quite figure out what is happening when the gridlock scenario is occurring, but it has definitel...

Re: Eleven (Ryan Condo Tower) - 1111 West River Parkway - 43 stories / 526'

The Park Board building having a driveway off the barren, industrial, dead-end northern stretch of West River Parkway isn't precedent. Whatever existing issues you might have with the Park Board of West River Parkway, this is exactly the type of battle it should fight. Agreed. If you spend any time...

Yes, we’re moving forward regardless of NEBL’s meritless petition. We appreciate this forum’s support and we’re dedicated to making the most remarkable project in Minneapolis.
Glad to hear, take my money already!

Re: 200 Central - Alatus Tower (Washburn-McReavy Site) 483' / 40 Stories

Recent communication from the 200 Central team; 200 Central Insiders, Last week was an exciting one for this highly anticipated project! We received news that the Minnesota Court of Appeals sided with Alatus and the City of Minneapolis in the last remaining argument of the litigation, upholding a lo...

Re: 200 Central - Alatus Tower (Washburn-McReavy Site) 483' / 40 Stories

I have heard repeatedly that excavation is preferred in cold months because it can make dealing with ground water situations much more simple. Only till the frost line I would imagine, but I'm no civil expert. I haven't seen any sub-grade plans for the building yet, but I would imagine with it bein...

Re: 200 Central - Alatus Tower (Washburn-McReavy Site) 483' / 40 Stories

There are a ton of pallets of sod on site now. That's kind of weird, right?
Not really, it's probably a more cost effective means for long term erosion control than something like silt fence or waddles. I would guess this is a good sign they are not planning on breaking ground for a while.
