well in MnDOTs never ending quest to fence off the unhoused people they have fully fenced off the sidewalks of both franklin and cedar underneath Hiawatha. And now the people have moved to the ramp of the 24th street ped bridge. So basically you cannot walk between Philips and Seward now.

Re: South Nicollet-Lyndale-Kingfield-Tangletown-Windom
I agree, this area is my neighborhood, and I am not really against this. The area just needs major infrastructure improvements if this happens though as there are no sidewalks in the area and streets that take 90 degree turns. Additionally, this is supposed to include a large outdoor training area ...

Yea there apparently has been some talk about the city buying the LeJeune Steel property as well to guide some sort of development like the Kmart lot.
As for the PD building, I think it will be a really interesting process. They held a last minute neighborhood meeting (notice was received on a ...

I am confused how does this change the Idaho stop rule I thought that only applied to stop signs?
Also how does forcing bikers to stop at yellows change anything other than placing the blame on the cyclist when they get hit by a speeding car in an intersection.

Do we know how much of the property they're planning on buying? The same owner currently holds everything between 60th and 59 1/2 Streets and from Grand Avenue east to LeJeune steel, including the curving rail track cutting through the site.
Basing off the fact they are saying the property ...

This would avoid the environmental concerns with an additional ...

Rail infrastructure in the US is extremely concentrated. There are very few firms that specialize in the type of work that is required for light rail systems which drives up costs. Plus designs for things like these take years of teams of people to complete. Design costs are usually around 10-20% of ...
