Last I heard, yeah, they’re using the affordable housing site for staging for train construction, which is part of why it’s the last phase.

Fifteen years even seems kind of optimistic, I’m still not sure how much demand there’s going to be for high-end apartment living in this spot.

Re: Public Transit News and Current Happenings

(and since new development continues to open along transit, like the 200+ students moving into The Hub directly across from the East Bank Station, we might fairly expect a slight increase in the percentages). I wonder if that shift does have a noticeable impact on bus ridership? I have to imagine t...

Wasn’t splitting the 4 into a north and south route supposed to happen sometime soon? That was in the service improvement plan a couple years ago but have not heard much about it since.

Re: Good time to buy a condo?

Prices on downtown condos have gone up, but definitely not to the extent that houses have in other parts of the city. I think the astronomical HOA fees do a lot to suppress values, which has pros and cons. I'm also looking/thinking about it and there's not really a ton of buildings, especially at th...

Definitely pro-driver safety and feel for them in bad situations, but my thought is that this is also would make them a little less concerned about passenger-to-passenger bad behavior.
