Re: Green Line Extension - Southwest LRT

That's a lot of new apartments in the first part. Hopefully some of the residents take the train!

Re: Minneapolis Public Schools

Is there an amount of bad job that the school district could do that would result in negative electoral consequences for the school board? The experience of basically every big city school district over the past fifty years suggests that there is not really a bottom.

As with Southwest before it, it might be fun for proponents to preregister some red lines. Is $5,000,000,000 too much?

I would be curious to know more detail about what the finances of Nice Ride looked like. Like when it went under, were they short $50,000 or $5,000,000? They did seem to get a lot of use.

Looks like we might get another six blocks of protected bike lanes on Washington in the Mill District. That would be an improvement!

Noticed today that there is a whole bookstore in the Mar Ten ramp at the corner of Marquette and 10th:

I remember this being on Nicollet Mall back in the day, sounds like it was in the North Loop before moving back over here. They didn't even block off all the windows ...

Re: Nicollet-Lake Redevelopment

On one hand, you want to ask if it would make sense to wait for conditions to improve before locking in a multi-decade use of this spot, but on the other hand, it's hard to imagine people wanting conditions to improve.
