Re: Minnesota Governor Election 2022
I cant see what his core voter block would be that Walz isnt already representing. Walz is the type of DFL candidate that center right suburban/urban voters like. The last poll in Dec 2021 had him with a 60% approval rating in the suburbs that Biden had similar approval ratings at the time

Re: Seven Points Uptown (Calhoun Square)
Losing the pedestrian road is a sad loss as those are very rare. I am glad to see north ponds committed to investing the property in mostly positive ways. If they did get Lunds to move it would bring a lot of life to that corner as well as free up another site for future developments. Over all this ...

I know someone on SSC posted a link to all of the posts a while back from retiredbanker and all of there other fake profiles. Some wild stuff was said by that person. It ended up involving multiple fake linkedin and social media accounts. All of which pointed to a plan to turn the twin cities into t...

I know the city has been promoting pop up retail along Nicollet mall but im not sure if the city is actually put up money for these. I think it would be worth it from the city. Retail space was already struggling before all that 2020 brought it. If not I think you will see more push back on the amou...

I think Walz is in very good shape at this point. His last approval number in late 2021 was 55% so hes the odds on favorite to win again. https://www.minnpost.com/community-voices/2021/12/walz-strong-in-recent-polls-which-also-show-gop-opportunities/ In a way he has been able to not get dragged down...

Every major transit project like this is going to run into major issues. I do think this is a learning experience for all of the parties involved. Dont try and cheap out and if anything the current conversation around the blue line extension shows this. Its aimed at serving people. But I do fear the...

Very sad to see a great older building go. This could and should have been saved many times over. While im sure it will lead to positive investment in the area vs an abandoned building it never should have gotten this way!
