Re: Blue Line Extension - Bottineau LRT
Assuming this stays on the current timeline im not worried about it. If it gets delayed I would be more worried. Musk and co are a blue ribbon committee that congress and Trump will use for PR and likely ignore when real legislation is made. They also will have the weakest house majority in a very ...

Re: City Center
Imo the majority of people who don’t either live in the city or spend alot of time in it will always link downtown with the entire city. Downtown has had a very good recovery for crime stats from 2020-2021 but with other areas being more inconstant the perception has stuck. Also I’m not sure why but ...

Re: Making Transit More Feasible/Less Intimidating for New Riders
This is a good point. Last year they were not going to run extra trains during pride and a Taylor Swift concert. That comes off as poor planning on there part. Being short staffed is a very fair point but given that 2 massive events were going on downtown it would seem short cited to not have a plan ...

Re: Root District - Farmers Market / Royalston Station
I think it should be where target center currently is. You will have rail access to 3 lines. There are some spots for a deer district style redevelopment. This would also allow for the idea of cap on 394 between target field and target center to create a really cool plaza. Maybe add in removing all ...

Re: Downtown Minneapolis - News & General Topics
All of those will take some time to fill. There will be office to housing conversions of the old republic and part of the century link building plus a few smaller ones but we will see a drop in big projects. Hopefully rates drop some this year and that gets developers rolling again
