The hoarding is down for the new H&M store in the Central Parkway wing (across from Zara) which opens on Thursday at noon. Glad to see that wing is getting more life.

Actually there are still two more floors to pour. The structure is 11 stories, but the 10th and 11th stories are set back in portions of the structure, so there will be a little bit of activity at the top of the building regarding exterior common spaces. Finally.

Demolition began this morning. They seemed to be going pretty fast at the time as they do have two excavators on site.

The two retail spaces were announced today. Walgreen's (ugh) will take up 7,000 square feet on the first floor and Haiku Sushi will occupy the remaining 4,000 sqf on the first floor. Wow! Did not see this one coming. Truthfully, I myself thought the next block to be redevelopment would be, sadly, but the corner of Washington and Oak where Stub and Herb's currently is. I think that surface lot behind their building is far too appealing to a developer, not to mention the fact that...
