I'd be supportive of additional parkland on that lot if Bde Maka Ska Parkway got rerouted to connect to Market Plaza instead of Dean Parkway. That way the park would actually meet the lake.

So they just demolished the 2 buildings where Big Daddy's was. Apparently they won't be reopening in the new building once it's complete, but there might be a worker-owned co-op BBQ place there in it's place.

The "Music & Book Landfill" building at Griggs and University with the art deco clocktower is by far my favorite, but this one isn't terribleAnd I never thought I would be in the apparent majority by saying that this is definitely one of my favorite buildings along University.
