They really need to do a major facade reconstruction of the lower 4 stories. Make it street and predestrian friendly again.

I'm one that think there should be a street car line on broadway instead of Light rail. Just not enough room for Light rail up Broadway.

The tracks have been laid and they have tore down the wall in between the addition and the old building. They still have to install the interchange locks for switching track. to the new addition. My friend who is a Light rail operator say that they are about 80% finished at this point.

THe Armory is a historic building so you will have a hard time being able to modify the roof. You might be lucky for some skylights, demoing any of the roof's structure will be a BIG NO. They will need all the historic tax creds they can find to make anything in an update there work.

I'd say some metal, glass, and stone would be very cool design.

This plan works for 10 day out of the year. You don't spent Multi-million dollars on 10 days. There is little else around there to attract people. All Restraunts and bars are blocks fron the Armory. Will have to see if the Linear park is anything more than land taken off the tax roles.

I hope that they can get this building renovated. It is beautiful, but in its present state it is an eyesore at the gateway into the city and the Warehouse district.

Apartment would do best with standardization and helps to save cost, and makes getting the units online much faster and tenents in before other units come online.
