Re: Southwest Corridor (Green Line Extension)
I'm pleased the Blake Station is leaving Lucé intact and is driving the trail into a tunnel crossing. Frightening crossing that. And I see the ROW the city hopes to acquire to start the road they've wanted to provide access to the interior of this mega block. Hopkins' East End vision has this block ...

Re: Southwest Corridor (Green Line Extension)
The Excelsior crossing shows the bike trail crossing at Excelsior being eliminated. I believe Three Rivers is even advocating that because of all the bike crossing problems, I've seen so many cyclists take a tumble when their tires get caught in the freight rail tracks. Seems all trail traffic will ...

Re: Olive Garden/Chili's site apartment project - St. Louis
If people were willing to live next to highways, International Market Square would have people living there... Wait, what? And Hoigaard Village sits almost on top of a highway? You don't say. Well, okay then. Maybe they should look at building next to transit options like an express bus line to Down...

If we're doing a tunnel, tunnel under Hennepin. Simultaneously with street cars down Nicollet then Chicago soon after. IMO.

Re: Olive Garden/Chili's site apartment project - St. Louis
I see the border now, I guess in my head I assumed the little but that zinged across 394 extended a tad further. That proposal looks just fascinating. I wish more projects like this went a bit taller and the higher stories were stepped back. I'm a fan of the stepped back look generally and would fav...

Re: Olive Garden/Chili's site apartment project - St. Louis
I believe more properly those restaurants a in Golden Valley, not SLP. Golden Valley was the stick in the mud that prevented 16th from being linked to the frontage road underpass beneath TH100, with one consideration that if the West End development connected 16th, traffic would drop along the 394 f...

Re: Knollwood Mall - St. Louis Park
Interesting info about the redevelopment. Having lived in SLP for at least 35 years on and off, this is wise. But anything that is done that fails to take into account better pedestrian crossing across TH7, even such as a grade separated crossing like was done with Wooddale and is going to be put ba...
