Plus I know they have a hard time keeping the Moneygram tower and 1600 Utica Ave tower full.
PLUS... both these towers are being sold for the second time in 2 years.

Re: The Flats at West End - St. Louis Park
I work in the Moneygram building and have been following and questioning many of this decisions made about the West End. 1. The driving and parking is horrible. Most people know about the underground parking, but not about the parking ramp behind the movie theater. I see lots of people parking in th...

Re: Twin Cities Future Transit Map
Actually I just noticed something...
If this was to go up Snelling, Hamline or anything else between the downtowns, it would come west out of Union Station not East.
I'm guessing the way it is currently depicted, is assuming it would run on Arcade/ hwy 61.

Re: Twin Cities Future Transit Map
So the Yellow Line is just a hope and a dream right?
Is it likely to be on Snelling? If so I could see the Hwy 36 stop being VERY busy with Rosedale right there.

Re: Midtown Corridor
I would love to see a streetcar run in the greenway trench. Here are a few questions: 1. Wouldn't they want a stop within steps of the lakes? Maybe at Lake Calhoun Pkwy. Clearly many people would want to use the transit to come see the lakes that the CITY OF LAKES is known for. 2. Would this be used...

Re: Rayette Building
ha! They will have great transit options soon, too bad one sister is a teacher in So. Washington County Dist and the other is always traveling around the cities for work. They both need their cars. I was more thinking about the parking requirements. It seems to me that most apartment complexes are r...

Yes!!! 100% agree that NL could use a Blue Plate place.
This corner could be Smack Shack, The Loop, and Blue Plate. That's pretty good if you ask me!

Interesting... I'm pretty sure this is used as the tentant parking for both of my sisters apartment buildings in Lowertown. They live on opposite corners of 5th and Wacouta. If it is gone, where does everyone park?

I drove past Calhoun Beach Club for the first time in a long time yesterday. Are they finally developing the land to the east? On the project map on the 1st page of this post it is called Calhoun Beach Club 2.

Re: Park Vista (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
My beef with it was that it was hard to read. Just seemed like poor color choices for the words. Also IMO, the "Coming Soon" should have some sort of expected open date.

Re: Park Vista (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
New name for Park Vista - "Stonebridge Lofts" I spoke with Stanton on Friday and he shared the new name. Since it is no longer directly across from a park, it makes sense to rename it. Project should be complete by spring 2014. I live in the North Loop and also received one of the horribl...

Re: Uptown Restaurant News
Could it be two different places? Republic is going into the old Independent on the second floor of Calhoun Square.
fotoapparatic, do they have a separate facebook for the uptown location? The last picture I see on the Seven Corners page is from Sept 21.

If the 90's cleans up too much, the Brass Rail and Auggies will need to do something. Anyone know why the corner store has been empty for so long?

Hey guys, I'm Mike. I had stumbled upon MinneScraper a few times in the past. I just did again yesterday and saw the post about the new site. I think I spent 4 hrs yesterday checking out all the awesome info. I love seeing the new developments around town. I am currently working for a fund accountin...
