Looks like they are getting ready to break ground on this. The site has a trailer there (as of 10/3/12), and yellow caution tape around the perimeter. Any idea how many units? Looks like this place. It says mixed use, but it doesn't seem to have anything other than residential in these plans.

It's just a bad rendering. Maybe we'll know more after they meet today.
Does anybody know what's going on at the corner of 4th st se and 8th ave se? It's where that park is near the 35W ramp.

There's something goofy about the proportion of the base of the building as was mentioned earlier. If they remedy that, it should look pretty good. Nice that it will fill a vacant lot , but I wish they would build a few more home ownership projects in the area. Jeez, do you think we have enough ren...

I would love to see this happen. Busy area, good transit and very walkable. A mix use development would really add to the street life.

The lights were out for bird migration... seriously. http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2012/03/0 ... ory-birds/. Also they were installing new LED like the Target building has (but I don't think they can do the art work).

Will this be next to Xcel's new HQ?
