Re: Southwest LRT (Green Line Extension)
Found this article. I am confused, I thought that in order to gain the final go-ahead from the Feds we needed to secure the 150 million from the state. http://finance-commerce.com/2016/07/southwest-lrt-wins-green-light-from-feds/ I'm fortunately the article was locked. Maybe one of you has more inf...

Re: Northstar Commuter Rail
They have to fund Green Line extension first.Come on state republicans... get greedy, use that surplus... build us a train! It's not that spendy, you can justify it!

Re: Riverview Corridor (Alternatives Analysis)
We've discussed this a little (maybe here, maybe in the MOA thread), but from an operational standpoint, wouldn't Riverview wreak havoc on the current (and planned) setup for train layovers at MOA Station? It seems they are not considering any additional trains in the MOA station renovation. Having...

Re: Rush Line Corridor (Alternatives Analysis)
I'm referring to the Green Line stopping short of Union Depot as much as proposals for the Riverview and Rush Lines to extend into it. Isn't the best possible outcome all of them go to the Depot or none of them so you don't have to walk the steps and out front to transfer? Thats why the Green Line ...

Re: Green Line (Central Corridor LRT)
Though that raises the question: Why can't we just have overnight shutdowns as needed? Why do they need to shutdown daytime service? Speculating out loud: Overnight workers tend to be paid a slight premium, and while that premium might amount to less than a weekend of lost revenues, perhaps Metro T...

Re: Green Line (Central Corridor LRT)
I'm trying to learn how the system works. At any given time, like let's say at 10am today, how many trains are actually moving on the green line? One train in each direction, or are there 4 trains spaced apart? Is there a chart or graphic that shows it, or an explanation for a novice like me? The h...

Re: Green Line (Central Corridor LRT)
They are also doing cement work at West BankIt's a lot easier to detour a bus than a train! I assume this work was planned at the same time, otherwise why would the Green Line close all the way to Stadium Village, if the work they are doing is only downtown?
