Very excited about this project! I LOVE the rendering, looks gorgeous.

I live on Ridgewood and have been there the last 2 years with no intention of leaving unless they sky rocket my rent. I would love to see something cool go in here! There's also that building that used to house Dunn Brothers, Great Clips, a tattoo shop... etc right on the corner of Ridgewood and Lyn...

But yeah, he should just say screw it and build high end condos instead even though we know the market isn't there. Or more apartments because those generally scream l****y (literally) and that would totally make him rethink his design. And he has a great record of building l****y apartments. (Wait...

The original render is gorgeous! It's really too bad they've gone a different direction. Is there any possibility they would go back toward something like that at this point or is it too late with the new renders already drawn up?

I have to say I'm also a bit disappointed with how the building looks. I hate that you can see all of the seems in the glass. I was expecting it to look more fluid like the IDS.

I work at Carlson Plaza (401 Carlson Parkway) and will be sad to lose that island while they build this place (if it happens). It's so nice to go out and walk that in the spring/summer/fall.

Is anything EVER going to go into the retail space in BLUE?

I'd like if we did the same thing with our Armory that San Francisco did to there's, but there's probably not enough demand for another one of those...

HAHA! I was JUST in San Francisco... I wouldn't mind our Armory being used for those purposes
