Speaking of jersey barriers, NE corner of Rice and Como has them surrounding the old Stahl lanes footprint. Anyone have info on what's going up? Combination coffee shop and dialysis clinic. Whenever the coffee shop opens, it won't be Tim Hortons. The franchisee that operated them closed all of them...

Heads up for anyone wishing to visit the Brew Hall, there are only a few actual beers available. That's the bad news. The good news, none of them are Michelob Golden Light.

Re: Mall of America - Bloomington

While MOA is losing more tenants, it is gaining more events. Yesterday, MOA was announced as the host for the 3X3U National Championship. It's a 3x3 basketball tournament where the champion conference will split $100,000. FTR, the B1G Ten is the "defending" national champion, so I know who...

Was such a neat spot to have lunch, even if the food was just Subway. I hope they have a little fast casual restaurant there. It's a nice location t...

The Wild, Twins, Wolves, and Vikings all have stadium operated team stores operated year round, open all week except Sundays for most of them.
I know the Wild store isn't open on Sundays except during games, not sure about the Wolves, the Vikes and Twins have their stores open seven days a week.

Re: Lake & Nicollet Redevelopment (Kmart site)

Sears Holdings is likely to go into Chapter 7 tomorrow which will result in mass liquidation. So we may get a resolution on what will, if anything, replace not just the KMart here, but also the one in St. Paul as well.

I'm pretty sure the people at U.S. Bank Stadium would rather have the CFP National Championship game, rather than have a bowl that might not have a B1G team available.

Re: Public Transit News and Current Happenings

The loop to the Lyngblomsten Senior Home on the 84 is interesting. Hopefully that can help ridership; it seems well suited for the local route to make that loop (and for the senior home to be on the local loop) if they have to cut it back to roughly there anyways. I'm not sure how much life is left...
