Re: Mill & Main - (501 Main Street Southeast)
Oh, I thought 5th was gone. Any idea on the ownership? This whole block looks pretty interesting.

Re: Mill & Main - (501 Main Street Southeast)
I had no idea that they were creating new streets as part of this project. Are Mill & Main (1& 2) owned by the same developer as Pillsbury? Is this whole block going to be cohesive?

The rest of 5th is still pretty bad. It'll be interesting to see if it turns over with all the new residents.

Thanks, I just looked back at the 1st page and found the .pdf with the site plan. It's definitely squeezed in there!

Re: 600 Fifth Street - (600 Fifth Street North)
I'm confused where exactly this is... What is going to be replaced? Shapco is 524 5th, Fulton is 414 6th Ave, just the empty corner seems too small.

Re: Former Reserve Site - (324 First Street North)
I don't know that I'd want to live in a building knowing that the rebar has been exposed to the elements for over a decade. I'm assuming there is at least some amount of degrading that has taken place. I live across the street from this and you really don't see any damage or decay on the rebar. Alt...

Re: 301 Walnut (Sally's Building)
Apparently Sally's will definitely survive the redevelopment.

The owner seems to be the one looking for the land to be developed.

The last one looks as if it's the new one that was just released.

Re: 36 Park Apartments - St. Louis Park
Just realized you said you don't think Google is updated. I disagree (which is why I posted the link to Google Maps) it looks like all streets are on the satellite images. Why do you think the street grid should be filled in? I don't understand that obsession on these boards. Projects along 36th St ...

Re: Downtown Restaurant News
It is still pretty dead and barren looking aside from Washington. I really think the city needs to reconstruct the streets over here...preferably with brick and historically accurate street lights. I think that would encourage more development. I know the original streets are fun and kitchy...but i...

Re: Downtown Restaurant News
It was quickly discussed on the last page. Looks like there was a NL meeting where it was brought up.
There are lots of new options in the NL. Love to see the neighborhood thriving.

Re: Nicollet-Central Corridor
You know people are funny about walking... This past Saturday I asked my friend/neighbor if he wanted to walk over to Target Field and check out the Interchange project, etc. He told me he was just thinking about driving over there to get a Coke and fill up his tank at the Holiday. I asked where els...

On average I go to 0-1 Vikings Games a year. The 2 years they are at TCF I plan to go 2-3 games a year.

Beautiful! I wonder if the product ON the field will be better when they have a better field to play at? Does the giant pdf have more details about the proposed parking areas? I know tailgating is a BIG deal for Saints fans.

Re: Vikings Stadium
The baseball field dimensions dispute is settled. Right field will be 300 feet deep with a 26-foot temporary outfield wall. For comparison, left field in Fenway is 310 feet deep with a 37-foot wall.
