Does this mean that TKE is moving? I lived across the street for a year and they were terrible neighbors.

Yeah, so per the plans the tower floors are each 6" shorter than the low-rise floors. But I'm sure the angle is also deceptive.

you also get to experience ignoring the pedestrian; apparently that's what the streetview car did too!Fun fact: In the 2016 Streetview imagery for this intersection, you can see a really ugly early-80s Cadillac blowing through these lights with another waiting pedestrian.

Apple Maps directs me to exit the bus a quarter mile from my apartment and walk, rather than ride it to the stop directly across the street. so that's odd.

There will be lots of opposition. I can't think of a building in Chan that's more than 3 stories; this would be the tallest in the city by far. The site, right next to the Dinner Theater, will also make it highly contested. It always seemed like the Frontier Building, as well as retail in the Theate...

^I think it should be noted that airplane and automobile industries both strive for 100% safety--for the occupants. The difference is that planes don't kill pedestrians. Car manufacturers are constantly touting their models' safety features and ratings; these are meant to keep you and everyone else ...

Do you suppose they would restripe 10th and remove the center left turn lane (I've always thought it wasn't very utilized), or just install bollards on the current line? Also, I would hope that they would at least continue the protected lane on Central to 4th & 5th, rather than terminate on Univ...
