Re: Woodbury Corporate Campus - State Farm site

Maybe, "Post-Urban Renewal City Place". Evoking the legacy of the downtown sea of parking effect.

It's retro that way.

Woodbury Corporate Campus - State Farm site

Details. Now with "Name Change", maybe this thread can get a rename?

It's a hell of a lot of parking. Shameful?

Re: Stucco (Portland Cement) Houses

My parent's home in SLP is about 90 years old with original stucco. They've never done a thing to maintain it, looks better than any aluminum or vinyl siding in the neighborhood. No painting.

Extreme low maintenance indeed.

Hennepin Avenue

Before Hwy 12 become 394, and TH 100 and 36th in SLP had its stop light removed, Hennepin and Lake had epic congestion in the 1980s. Anything today is milder in my comparison.

169 north to Bren is a triple left. Latest map imagery should show it.

Re: Southwest Corridor (Green Line Extension)

Oh, I'm not disputing the value in Royalston. I was responding to what I thought was the implied idea for a third train station. After mulad further explained I see mulad wasn't thinking of a third train station but simply asking for room to be left for the commuter station to expand. About the Roya...

Do we need that many train stations that close to each other. Why another?

I thought it was going to be on 36th by the trail crossing? In any case the old site should be interesting to watch what goes in.

Re: Southwest Corridor (Green Line Extension)

I just sat in at the City of Hopkins council meeting where a presentation of the TSAAP (Transitional Station Area Action Plan) for the Hopkins stations was discussed. The full document is out there for download. Lots of interesting items about what is expected to be out done around the stations on o...

The canyon is precisely what I hate most about the central Mall. The lack of a canyon is what I love the south end of the Mall.
