I'd pay for digital-only $10/mo or $99/year, but I won't pay for the packages they have now.

Re: Minneapolis Density and Population Growth (500k, etc)
Well, again, that's literally why statistical areas exist, because the city borders or population within don't really matter in a metro area. Milwaukee is "bigger" than Minneapolis if you're just looking at population inside the boundaries of the city itself, but clearly the "city&quo...

Re: Minneapolis Density and Population Growth (500k, etc)
This is why you use statistical areas instead of city boundaries. Unfortunately that's not really gonna change that commenter's mind. And the fact they're commenting at all comparing Mpls to Columbus Ohio means there's some sort of grudge going on in the first place.

Re: Downtown Minneapolis General Topics & Development Map
You didn't really answer the question, you just restated what you said before.
If you've got a three-lane one-way then if you've got someone turning right and someone turning left and both are blocked then at least the whole street isn't at a standstill.

Re: Downtown Minneapolis General Topics & Development Map
Why? What's wrong with one-ways?Also, I cannot believe that in the year 2019 we are doing full rebuilds of downtown streets as three-lane one-ways.

Same experience. I've been able to snag near-ish (4 blocks out of my way) to the Green Line, but they can't be relied on at all. I'd ride them much more often if there were any within a mile. Just from looking at the map there's never more than like a dozen in all of downtown.

They also don't allow tobacco products on the premises, including vape pens. The policy against use is whatever, but if you want me to take transit there and don't have a way of checking items on-site then what am I supposed to do? Whether or not I vape or smoke is a personal decision that they seem...

If you mean "someone that stands behind the cheese counter", sure, but last time I was in there they didn't have or know what Cotija was. That's like not knowing Cheddar. Every Mexican place in the city puts it on their refried beans. There’s a cheesemonger no less. Love that Lund’s.

If you're confusing speed and packet/data loss, maybe you don't fundamentally understand how internet and games works lol. Also problems have been continuing even with the higher speed... "lol" Have you thought about replacing your router/WiFi AP? I play FPS games all the time and have ha...

Doran has a number of webcams available on their corporate site. I'm relieved they kept some of the infrastructure in place. It retains some history at the site and creates an interesting built environment without significant additional cost. I'm honestly quite confused that anyone here would advocate tearing it all down. Same, I really like how they integrated ...

Drone video of the lit-up stadium on Reddit
I shot this on a really low exposure to highlight the lights and make it pop more. Naked eye, the translucent “skin” the stadium is wrapped in is much more apparent, and in the day time the stadium looks very much like the render actually.
