Re: Downtown Minneapolis Retail News
Just received an advertisement on Instagram to apply for a position at Joe & the Juice's upcoming location in Minneapolis. Anyone know anything about this or where it might be going?

Re: Downtown Minneapolis General Topics & Development Map
New to this viaduct removal conversation, but what do you guys think the realistic probability is of this happening? I've always dreamt of getting rid of that thing and letting the area develop.

Re: East End / Thresher Square / Trader Joes - 713 Washington Ave S
The Starbucks next to Trader Joe's underneath East End is opening tomorrow, June 13th. Bacon Social House looks to be opening ~June 25th (according to their website and the Canopy hotel). Wandered through the hotel this past weekend and grabbed some photos; they really did some cool work restoring/...

Re: 240 Park Ave S - Zygi's Apartments - 18 stories - 188'
A few people from the Wilf and KA teams gave a construction update to residents of the neighboring buildings a few days ago. Re: Midtown Corridor Rail & Lake Street aBRT (B Line)
Slightly new here, but the 10,000 daily riders sounds like a pretty substantial amount for a bus line that has to sit in heavy congestion and is probably not an appealing alternative to walking, biking or even driving if you have the choice. Would a number like this warrant a light-rail, or true ded...

Re: Electric Scooters
When are these bad boys launching this year? I thought they'd be out in conjunction with the NiceRide launch To answer half of my own question, Lime scooters are on the streets in St. Paul. I feel like it’s weird that they launched in St. Paul before Minneapolis. Also there’s still no signs of the ...

Re: Labeling the Transit System
In theory BRT like the Orange Line and LRT are supposed to be "rapid transit" and are meant for traveling greater distances, while aBRT is meant to be an improved alternative to local buses. In practice it's a distinction without a difference. You could call the A Line the Mauve Line or c...

Re: Labeling the Transit System
First post here, but can someone explain why a BRT line like the Orange line is labeled differently than the A,B,C, etc lines? Like what is the difference between these lines, is it dedicated lanes or what?
Thanks!
