I did. I saw a chain link fence surrounding the parcel and construction equipment on site.

Re: Minneapolis Density and Population Growth
Also, the chains to which you refer are all local businesses. I support Dunn Bros and Lunds over Starbucks and Sam's Club when I can. *My bad! A friend correctly pointed out that you probably meant Whole Foods. Thats legit. I would stand firm on my thoughts on Dunn Bros though. Despite being a chain...

Spirit adds DTW to its list of destinations from MSP. http://www.bizjournals.com/twincities/news/2014/02/13/spirit-adds-nonstop-flights-detroit-msp.html Also, this makes me want to fly Sun Country even more :) http://www.bizjournals.com/twincities/news/2014/02/13/surly-beer-goes-a-mile-high-with-sun...

Please back off CLF friends. His personal concerns are valid. @clf, what was this company's other project?

Re: Target Center Renovation
I'm going to side with Mullen on this. I would argue AEG, the Lynx/Wolves and the city are only responding to what so many citizens said about the new Viking's stadium being so expensive. It seems like a no-win situation for the developers. I empathize with worry that people now have that this is wi...

Re: Northstar
Touche Matt :-) Tom, I still hold out hope. 3100 riders a day is nothing to scoof at in my opinion and the improvement is what I find most encouraging. Remember, this is literally a "train to no where." :) Imagine what the numbers would be if it went all the way to St Cloud. I would argue ...

Not MSP, but MN airports. St. Cloud is getting 2x daily service to O'Hare on United.

I'm missing the drug activity too. I walk this intersection everyday and have not seen anything. Granted I may be missing things, but nothing has stood out in my mind. By drugs, do you mean pot or something more insidious? If it's the former, I would say EVERY area of Dinkytown would be a hotbed of ...

I am all for rear door exit, but at least in the winter this is sometimes not possible. To help this along we would need to make sure both de-bording areas are cleared of snow. As of now, usually only the front door is clear.
