Beers cost $8.50 at Twins games. Enough said. The Saints play terrible baseball. I'm always stunned when I hear people say that the Twins are bad so they're going to watch the Saints instead . The level of skill is not even comparable.

Re: Stadium Parking Ramp Air Rights Development
Strawman...? Wow. I was simply stating I don't care for the building. No intent to "start an argument." I respect others opinions that differ from mine which is why I come to this thread in the first place. I'm sorry some folks get offended if someone else's OPINION differs from there's. I...

Re: Saints Lowertown Ballpark
I can't wait to go to a few games next year. I quit going to Twins games because they're terrible and it's very expensive.I'll be getting my baseball fix in lowertown next summer! That side of town looks beautiful now. What a drastic change getting rid of that horrible Gillette building and replacin...

Re: Stadium Parking Ramp Air Rights Development
It's an ugly 3 story warehouse and nowhere near worth a 2nd thought of preserving. Let's not get carried away here folks.

Re: Stadium Parking Ramp Air Rights Development
I think that warehouse was an eyesore and am glad they tore it down. Not everyone agrees about preserving this ugly building! Get rid of it and move forward with something clean and fresh. Well done RYAN!!

Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
I just noticed on the webcam there's a large red crawler crane on the east end of the stadium. It looks like a 3/4 version of the giant yellow crane. Didn't know that was coming!

It appears they are about ready to lift the far west truss! The straps are all hooked up.

Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
It looks like they added another section to the crawler crane as mentioned earlier. They must need more height for the west end of the truss.

Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
There appeared to be a yellow "section" next to it on the webcam earlier. Any chance they're making it a bit higher? They have crawled from this side to the other once before without dismantling.

I think the sliding doors on the cowboys stadium are much taller. Why they say the vikes stadium has the largest doors is beyond me.

You could be working with someone with abuse problems in the past and not even know it. Just because they're in the NFL doesn't mean there won't be "bad apples." I still think they have the right to work just like that imaginary example of the guy next to you at the office... A guy has to ...

Hate football much, Wedgeguy? I can just picture people getting hit by cars trying to catch friendly passes. LOL. I agree with your ideas of what it should be though. Don't be alarmed by the renderings showing the football grid, architects like to have a little fun with their renderings.

Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
I heard a story that they already placed the order for the standard glass a while ago so not sure how that would work to change it now. I will admit from a distance it really does not look bad at all.

Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
They showed samples of the glass on Kare 11 a couple weeks ago. It looks awful. To say you can't notice the difference is ridiculous. Would you put that hideous junk on your house?

Is there a petition to sign to not use fritted glass? I'm sorry but I'm not sold at all.
We have bigger problems in this world than birds crashing into stadiums. Thousands they say - right... What a crock.

Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
It appears the steel they hoisted into place today is not at its full height yet. There is another piece on the ground that will go on top. I'm very interested how they're going to do that.
