Re: Forum Etiquette
First off I'd like to say thank you to Nick and Sean for saving the site and maintaining it. I know it is time consuming and a lot of hard work and I and many other users greatly appreciate it. I'm noticing a trend of the same 4 topics or so having the only new posts (especially in the downtown sect...

Re: 25-story tower downtown Rochester.
Nice! I've also heard Mayo might start out their expansion big with a tower as well (part of the wow factor after getting support from the state I would guess) I could see a couple mid-rises changing Rochester's skyline in the next few years. Remember when that writer for the Post Bulletin wrote abo...

Re: MSP Airport
Anyone know what happened to mspspotters.net? It hasn't been updated for quiet some time. It'd be nice to have a site like that with maybe a forum or something if enough people are interested.

From MDOTS Facebook page. I thought this was pretty cool. I'm always a fan of sprucing up signs.

@Didier: Was it pretty full? I've heard they have been very successful and are considering adding more flights next year/increasing the number of days they offer flights.

Re: Rochester Transit Line
A Better Rochester will soon be advocating for an integrated transit future for Rochester, combining HSR from Minneapolis to Chicago, a downtown streetcar connecting many of the destinations, and future LRT in the 52 / South Broadway travelsheds with future connectivity to the airport. Get in touch...

So let me get this right Le Suer.... What I'm not hearing you say is that it couldn't host an NHL All Star Game. I think that would be really cool. Anyone else? Pls respond. Thx.

Re: Major League Soccer in Minnesota
Downtown would be ideal. I was having a hard time finding large plots of land. If the South Loop master plan plays out to its full potential this could be a much bettef location then it currently is.

Re: MSP Airport
I have heard rumors of Korean starting 2014. I would guess we'll see another Skyteam member before Lufthansa. Maybe KLM again? I know Hawaiian has been mentioned before too. And yes Denver is nice, but its creepy as hell haha. Going with the theme of what we have; Iceland, Canada and now France I'm ...

Re: General Suburb News
I'd probably cross post that to the Street, Road and Highway Projects Page Its kinda confusing but I think its best to keep this for housing/retail/commercial developments and keep most the roadwork/transit work in the transportation sub. Chanhassen just approved a new apartment complex. Originally ...

Right... which is why I didn't mention it. For one I'm not talking about just this thread but besides that the post I was responding to had nothing to do with the materials showing signs of wear.

Re: Road Geek Topics
Took this quote from the St Croix river crossing thread. I just wish that MnPass would be compatible with the EZPass network so I don't have to keep stopping at toll booths whenever I'm in Chicago. I think that would be awesome. Regional compatibility with with toll roads and HOT lanes is a great id...

I think the idea and hope is that they get included in the overall bonding bill isn't it? Hopefully this gets going sooner or later, phase one alone would be such a huge improvement.

Re: 222 & Whole Foods - (222 Hennepin Avenue)
Oy vey. Is this a serious question? Well since you asked. The standard formula is usually: building square feet/avg price per unit, then take that number times it by 12 months in a year then divide all that by the average price of wood over the last decade then take the percentage of people who woul...

Re: Nic on Fifth - (455 Nicollet Mall)
Are there good reasons why this thing is going so much faster (by my estimation) than the LPM tower? Didn't this one start way, way later? Glad to see it's moving along nicely. Isn't half of the site still at ground level though? Only the side fronting Nicollet (where the tower portion will rise) i...

Re: Midtown Corridor
This corridor needs to be fast enough to be part of the regional network. If you were traveling from Hopkins to the airport, I would hope SW to Greenway to Hiawatha would be a lot faster than SW to Hiawatha, even with the extra transfer. Also I would think the people taking this from Hopkins to the...
